Kosmalski family

Loving my Golden Doodle families this year! I don’t know how I keep landing all these beautiful sessions, but I am forever grateful for my furry and non furry clients!

The Kosmalski’s decided on Davidson, NC as their location which just made me jolly because I’ve been dying to shoot in Davidson for so long now. There is so much charm and character downtown and Davidson College is an indescribably beautiful campus. I love the yellow leaves photos because they give off such a warm and cozy vibe even though it was super chilly outside.

hannah + patrick engagement

Last weekend I drove down to Crowder’s Mountain to meet Hannah and Patrick for a fun fall engagement session. The trees were showing off their autumnal glory and we were planning on taking full advantage because the trails were decently long for a photo session. Then we caught wind of a small trail on the other side of the welcome center called “backside trail” that was a “ten minute hike” with incredible views of the whole Charlotte skyline for the top. We all immediately agreed we were in.

Now I don’t know if I am just super out of shape or if someone straight up lied to me because this “simple” hike almost killed me. I definitely had to pull over on the side at least 5x while climbing, and then had to take a 20 minute break when we finally made it to the top.

I had no idea I’d be climbing mountains and exercising more than I have all year in the matter of 2 hours, but the photos were definitely worth it.

I am so excited to share these beauties and even more excited to shoot Hannah and Patrick’s wedding in Virginia in 2019!

griffin family

I’ve known Bridget since college, but seeing her now is like seeing a different person. Seeing her as a mother is such a beautiful thing and even more an honor to photograph. She now lives in Virginia with her husband and daughter so we met in between, in Greensboro for this session. It was a sweet afternoon catching up and visiting my old stomping grounds. So thankful for old friends, fall leaves, and the Greensboro Arboretum.

the pickled peach

I am feeling ✨so honored ✨ to have been asked to photograph the food feature in the second issue of Charlotte Lately’s print publication. It’s such a gorgeous collection of Charlotte’s culture and arts that flipping through the pages has me falling in love with my city all over again. Check out this 10 page spread of the most delicious treats from one of my favs The Pickled Peach! View the publication here

Bre + Josh wedding

Beyond thankful that these two chose me to photograph their wedding. They have the sweetest love story, the best vibe, and had the cutest wedding. I love these two and the light their friendship brings to my life - and nothing could compare to capturing it on camera. Cheers to Bre and Josh!

harper

Emily hired me to photograph her golden retriever puppy, Harper, so she could use the photos to enter the Sycamore Brewing Beer Garden Dog Contest! I told her I was confident we would win…and a few weeks later WE WON! Click here to see Harper’s big win and scroll down to see the rest of the photos from our southend shoot!

josanna senior session

Introduced Josanna to my favorite local Greenhouse, Oakdale Greenhouse for her senior session last week. Josanna wanted to do something different for her senior portraits and you know that’s right up my alley. Check out this stunning afternoon we spent breathing super clean air!
